台風25号により、袖ケ浦ふれあいどうぶつ縁も、想像を絶する土砂崩れや土砂の流入など、大きな被害を受けました。Due to Typhoon No. 25, Sodegaura Fureai Animal Park suffered massive damage, including unimaginable landslides and sediment inflow.

この度の台風被害からの復興に際し、スローガンを作成しました。
開縁以来、様々なことがありながらも、たくさんのお客様とのご縁に支えられ、動物たちが快適に暮らし、お客様の笑顔があふれるどうぶつ縁を少しずつ育ててきました。
今回の台風では被害を受けてしまいましたが、皆さまとのご縁を大切に、「どうぶつ縁をもう一度」という思いから、今回のスローガンを作成させていただきました。
「この縁でもう一度」のスローガンが従業員・関係者・お客様をひとつに繋ぎ、笑顔あふれる袖ヶ浦ふれあいどうぶつ縁を取り戻すことを従業員一同目指していきます。
これからも袖ヶ浦ふれあいどうぶつ縁への応援をよろしくお願いいたします。
Upon the recovery from the recent typhoon damage, we have created a slogan.
Since the opening of the park, despite various challenges, we have gradually nurtured an animal park where animals live comfortably and visitors' smiles overflow, supported by the connections with our many visitors.
Although we suffered damage from this typhoon, we created this slogan with the desire to value our connection with everyone and rebuild the animal park "once more."
All our employees will aim to restore the Sodegaura Fureai Animal Park, overflowing with smiles, by connecting employees, related parties, and customers together under the slogan "This connection, once more."

マリーちゃん（カピバラ）が、4頭の赤ちゃんを出産しました。
予定より早い、早産での出産でした。
土砂崩れによる大きな環境の変化やストレスが、早産につながった可能性も考えられます。
生まれてきたのは、とても小さな4つの命。
スタッフ一同、なんとか命をつなごうと懸命に見守り、できる限りの対応を続けました。
しかし、残念ながら3頭の赤ちゃんが旅立ちました。
小さな身体で一生懸命に生きようとしていた命。
短い時間ではありましたが、私たちのもとに生まれてきてくれたことを、決して忘れません。
今は、残された1頭の赤ちゃんとマリーちゃん、そしてどうぶつ縁のすべてのどうぶつ達が安心して過ごせるよう、スタッフ一同、心を込めて見守っています。Marie (a capybara) gave birth to four babies.
It was a premature birth, earlier than expected.
It is possible that the significant environmental changes and stress caused by the landslides led to this premature delivery.
Four very tiny lives were born.
Our entire staff watched over them desperately and did everything possible to keep them alive.
Unfortunately, three of the babies passed away.
They were lives trying so hard to live in their small bodies.
Although it was a short time, we will never forget that they were born to us.
Now, our entire staff is watching over the remaining baby, Marie, and all the animals at the park with all our hearts to ensure they can live peacefully.

復旧作業見学会が行われました。A recovery work site tour was held.
縁の入り口には旅立った赤ちゃんのために、供物が手向けられていました。Offerings were placed at the entrance of the park for the babies who passed away.
どうぶつ縁の被災状況は、私たちの想像をはるかに超える甚大なものでした。
土砂の流入や崩落により、施設や周辺の環境も大きく損なわれています。
どうぶつ達がこれまでと変わらず安心して過ごせる場所を取り戻すためには、さまざまな復旧工事が必要となります。
ここでは、今後予定している復旧工事について、現在の状況とあわせてご説明させていただきました。The damage to the animal park was far more severe than we had imagined.
The inflow of sediment and landslides have significantly damaged the facilities and surrounding environment.
Various recovery works are required to restore a place where the animals can live peacefully as before.
Here, we explained the upcoming recovery works along with the current situation.
復旧工事を進める中で、当初の想定を超える被害や、さらに手を入れなければならない箇所が次々と見つかっています。
「ここも直さなければ」「あそこも復旧しなければ」と、課題が増えていく毎日です。
皆さまからいただいた大切なご支援を決して無駄にすることのないよう、優先順位を考えながら復旧計画を立て、一つひとつ着実に進めてまいります。As we proceed with the recovery work, we continue to find damage beyond our initial expectations and areas that require further attention.
"We have to fix this here," "We have to restore that there," our challenges grow every day.
To ensure that the precious support we received from everyone is never wasted, we are establishing a recovery plan while considering priorities, and steadily moving forward step by step.
